Definition of entertaiment: Something affording pleasure, diversion or amusement: a novel or puzzle; a concert; the excitement of the game; solving a crossword; and so on. Entertainment is a complex cultural phenomenon that has evolved to encompass forms ranging from individual choice of pre-recorded music; from elaborate banquets for two; to performances intended for thousands.
